Txoko Extends His Trot

In this clip, my main focus was to stay out of Txoko's mouth and really get him to extend his trot. I held onto the reins just enough to not have them flap around, but left his head alone. I did not squeeze with my legs, push him with my seat, or use any other cue...

I think I reached my objective, especially near the middle of the clip, where you can see his hind legs truly reach forward under his belly.

I love that he stays so relaxed and zen throughout all of it.

Near the end, I only slightly picked up the reins, and he softened to that contact, almost asking for it. So amazing! I love the way he gets into such a pretty frame at the very end, and steps into the "whoa".

Impressive for such a young, green punk!
